How we keep it accurate

  • We start from the source

    Every page is built on current guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the World Health Organization (WHO) and the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), plus peer-reviewed research.

  • We show our work

    Each page lists its sources and the date it was last reviewed. Statistics name the study or agency behind them.

  • We keep it current

    We review pages when guidance changes. Articles first published in 2008 keep their original date and note when they were rewritten.
