Chlorhexidine gluconate

 

Chlorhexidine gluconate, or referred to as Chlorhexidine, is an antiseptic agent used to kill microorganisms. Chlorhexidine is considered to have antimicrobial activity and is used in certain surgical scrubs and antiseptic hand soap. In addition, Chlorhexidine is used in certain dental applications like toothpaste and mouthwash to fight gum disease and improve bad breath.
